The Government of Dubai has made visa services more accessible and convenient with the introduction of Amer Service Centres. In the past, individual typing centres were dispensing visa processing services. These typing centres were not well equipped, lacked basic amenities, had inadequate customer service levels and charged different costs to customers.
In 2018, the GDRFA decided to bring visa typing services under the banner of ‘Amer Center’ to allow people to process their visa applications, typing, translation, attestation, Emirates ID & Medical test Applications among other related government services under a single roof.
Amer Centers opened with the aim to contribute a cost-effective, professional and speedy service in line with customer requirements with a dedicated and experienced team of professionals having in-depth knowledge of the laws and procedures relating to governmental transactions.
It has a monitored system which increases efficiency and saves time, thus contributing to customer happiness. Amer Center reduces customer visits from two touch points to one, as residents now finish their transactions in one place without having to visit the GDRFA headquarters.
